Large Internal Stables

The livery yard consists of 2 yards, one with 8 boxes the other with 6 boxes. They range in size from approximately 12x12m to 11x14m. The 6 box yard has automatic water and the 8 box yard is due to have it installed soon. All boxes have windows which allow both ventilation and allow the horses to see what is going on around them. All stables are on shavings and horses are fed haylage. Our feed range is primarily Dodson & Horrell and Dengie, however we can supply most types of feed for your horse (with the exclusion of supplements and feeds such as Blue Chip).

Rubber Menage

Our menage is 50x25m and is made from sand and rubber. Newly resurfaced in summer 2007 we changed it from fibresand to sand and rubber. It drains fairly quickly after heavy down pours and we have found it more than adequate for schooling, jumping, lunging and loose jumping.

All Weather Gallops

There is a 4 furlong all weather gallops which runs uphill. Installed by the previous owners who bred Arab race horses the surface is of woodchip and it is a very useful addition to our facilities.

Claydon Horsewalker

The Claydon horsewalker is made for 4 horses with full length double paddles. Both sides of the the paddles are lined with rubber and they can also be electrified if needed. It is also lined halfway up on the outside edge and fully on the inside edge to minimise injury.

Derby Jumping Field

New for 2007 we have a jumping field next to the menage which is for use in the summer only. There is a derby bank and a dry ditch currently and we wish to include other derby fences such as a devils dyke, a table top and a hedge. Combined with a full set of show jumps, this field is ideal for training in the summer.

Full Set of Showjumps

Currently being updated we have all sorts of fillers including black, white and blue water trays, gates, brush fences and planks.

50 acres of all year turnout

We have 50 acres of post and railed paddocks, including 2 stallion pens. Because of the amount of land we have, your horses can be turned out all year round! Obviously we cannot control the weather so if you do not want your horses out in the mud then that is fine. However it is there should you want it.

Lorry & Trailer Parking

We have a large lorry and trailer parking area just completed. Clients are able to park their vehicles free of charge with the option of plugging electric in to your lorry for charging - coming soon.

Direct Bridleway Access

If you do not wish to hack out via the front road, there is a gate at the top of the fields which enables you to get on to a network of bridleways which you can hack out for miles.

Wash & Drying Rooms

We have a washing room with cross ties and hot and cold water on a hose. The horses really appreciate this in the cold winter. We have now installed a solarium into the stable next door so once your horse has been washed, he can go straight under the solarium.
